La Roche-Posay Active C Emulsion Light has the same formulation of Vitamin C efficacy as Active C Facial Skincare, but in a new lighter texture. It also contains pure L-ascorbic acid plus oil absorbants to provide comfort in a non-oily texture. This preparation is quick absorbing, gentle and ultra-matifying. Active C Light increases collagen synthesis, promotes cell renewal, smoothes skin texture, improves skin glow and reduces the signs of aging.

Active C helps inhibit oxidation, Le-Roche Posay has developed a special formula by binding water to polyols in order to limit its availability in oxidative chemical reactions. These polyols promote Vitamin C's penetration of the skin by retaining water molecules within their chemical structure, so that they will not contribute to Vitamin C oxidation. La Roche Posay Thermal Water, contained in Active-C is rich in Selenium, an antioxidant which reinforces the active properties of Vitamin C. Now in a lightweight formula for normal to oily skin types.

Active C Light helps dramatically reduce visible signs of aging. Specially formulated with pure L-ascorbic acid, a potent version of Vitamin C with proven anti-aging properties. Balanced mixture helps promote skin cell renewal, smoothness and luminosity.
